Summer 2012 Raw Foods Class Session!

Starting in May and working through to the end July I will be teaching a 3 course meal class where individuals will prepare and plate a raw superfoods home made almond mylk smoothie, an appetizer and main course. This is an opportunity to learn creative, visually stunning and delicious recipes as well as learning multiple techniques to navigate you through any raw recipe. I take the mystery and complexity out of raw foods recipes showing you how incredibly easy and fun it can be to be successful at this lifestyle.

On the Menu:

  • Raw Almond mylk superfood exotic smoothie
  • Fresh mint infused Thai spring rolls with a ‘Peanut’ dipping sauce (nut free)
  • Ginger Teriyaki Stir UN-fry with marinated ‘noodles’ and fresh vegetables

This class includes:

  • Folder including the recipes made AS WELL AS a handful of my favorite day to day recipes.
  • Literature on super foods covered and their benefits on our health. 
  • Information on the raw foods lifestyle as a whole and how it is beneficial to our health


I like to think of my classes as informational seminars. My personal style of teaching is communicating very clearly AS we prepare our foods. These aren’t simple *cooking* classes. I like to think of them as multi dimensional with an approach that leaves students feeling confident not only in the dishes we prepare, but also educated in the nutritional benefits and foundations of this lifestyle. I bring an IMMENSE passion with me making learning fun and enjoyable.

With more and more people being diagnosed with food allergies and sensitivities, it is important to be educated on the possibilities and options we may be unaware of. Host parties where ALL of your guests will feel taken care of and not left feeling left out. All the foods prepared are RAW, GLUTEN FREE, SOY FREE, and ALLERGEN FREE *most common allergens*

The household equipment needed for recipes taught in the class is a blender. No complicated dehydrated recipes or recipes calling for advanced equipment. Recipes I provide as an additional *gift* may possibly include the use of such equipment. 

About Chef Shuanna:

I have personally been able to cure my asthma (no longer being inhaler dependent), keep my eczema at bay, improve my eye sight AND live with severe hip and knee bursitis (arthritis) with the use of NO medications. It is this that has brought me from Chef, to a Chef AND Educator. Food is perhaps the most POWERFUL thing in our existence! Let me get you excited about your health potential!

Please Note:

****Classes held on Sunday’s at 6pm and Monday’s at 1:30 pm (additional days available upon request with a group of 6 or more participants i.e. parties, or groups of friends). Pick a day that works well for your schedule and I will place you on the calendar on a date that is filling up. Class requirements are MINIMUM of 6 participants with a maximum of 12 participants. This lets me keep the classes small and intimate to allow for maximum informational retention. I have one goal and that is to make sure students leave feeling confident!!****
